Brampton A’s Wheelin’ & Dealin’ ahead of 2014-15 NBL Canada season.

Brampton A's make a pair of moves ahead of 2014-15 season.

The National Basketball League of Canada announced two trades earlier today involving the Brampton A’s.

In a trade with the Island Storm, the A’s pick up 6-foot-8 small forward Christopher Cayole, a second-round pick and third-round pick in the 2015-16 NBL Canada Entry Draft in exchange for two first-round picks in the 2015-16 NBL Canada Entry Draft.

Cayole is known as a scorer, contributing to the Storm’s recent runs to the NBL Canada Finals with shooting touch from the outside. In two season with the club he averaged 41.8% from three point range, giving the A’s yet another threat from beyond the arc to compliment coach David Magley’s run and gun system.

The other deal sees Brampton native Kevin Francis move to the Halifax Rainmen in exchange for a 2015-16 first-round pick in the NBL Canada Draft.

Francis averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds in 45 games last season.
