At a press conference Thursday, the Lightning named the 13 men who would suit up for the club to start the 2014-15 National Basketball League of Canada season.
Team owner, Vito Frijia, kicked-off the announcement by saying this Lightning squad is the "best team" the two-time NBLC champs have had.
The roster, which can be seen below, is one of the first in the NBLC to be finalized so far.
"It's kinda a pleasure for those guys to have gelled already. We have a couple situations where guys are really getting comfortable with each other," Knox told reporters. "They really understand what we're trying to get done so I'm happy about it."
Among the 13 players picked, five have spent time with the Lightning before - when Micheal Ray Richardson was at the helm.
"To compare this training camp from the last, it's night and day. He [Knox] takes the time in and explains it, especially to the younger players." Elvin Mims - who will assume the roles of both player and assistant coach this season - told NBLCNET, "Even though expectations are really high, he still has the patience to let everyone learn."
The London Lightning host the Mississauga Power on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Budweiser Gardens.
