London Lightning vs. Windsor Express

The Windsor Express won a nail-bitter on Wednesday, beating London by a score of 92-91. Emmanual Little had a last-second jumper, but was unable to convert for the LIghtning who now sit at 5-2.

Leading the way for Windsor was Tony Bennet, who notched 13 points and 13 assists. 

With the one point win, the two 401 rivals engaged in another close game -- similar to the 99-97 Lightning win to start the season.

The two teams meet in London on Sunday to renew hostilities for the third time this season.


Island Storm vs. Moncton Miracles

The Island Storm finally got back in the win column on Wednesday, beating Moncton 117-112 in overtime at Moncton Coliseum.

An epic front-court steal by Brandon Robinson tied the game up at 98-98 with 32.1 seconds left, while Shawn Vanzant nearly sunk a buzzer beater to take it for the Miracles. Instead, the game went to overtime at 101 points each.

Brandon Robinson led the way for Storm with 24 points and 13 rebounds while Sammy Zeglinski had 21 points and added in with 11 assists.


Robinson wasn't the only man with a double-double, as Moncton's Stanley Robinson recorded 22 points and 13 rebounds on the night.

The 2-4 Island Storm are headed home after a long road trip. They take on Saint John at home on Sunday.

Meantime Moncton, who are now 1-3, head to Halifax on Sunday.
