Gameday -- November 20th, 2014

Mississauga Power vs. Saint John Millrats

The Mississauga Power used a big fourth quarter - and a big offensive push - to beat the Saint John Millrats 133-119 at the Hershey Centre Thursday night.

The Power had four players with over 20 points on the night, as Omar Strong (28), Tut Ruach (22), Alex Johnson (20) and JauShay Rockett (20) combined for 90 points on the night.

Saint John were tied with Mississauga heading into the fourth at 87-87, but were unable to keep pace with Mississauga's 47 point final quarter.

Meantime, the Millrats had a pair of big scorers in Anthony Anderson and Omar Strong, who both notched 28 points apiece.

While the scoring was plentiful, the big storyline was the 69 fouls committed by both sides. Jabs Newbury, Aquille Carr and Ruach all finished with six fouls. Carr, who finished with 17 points, was handed a technical after a dustup with Ruach later on in the game.

The Millrats are now 3-2, while the Power jumped up to a 4-2 record.

Saint John will finish their road trip with a game against the Brampton A's at 11 a.m. on Friday, giving them somewhere around 14 hours of rest before hitting the court again. Meantime the Power will take their shot at the A's on Saturday.
