Mississauga Power vs. Brampton A'sIt's another light day on the National Basketball League of Canada schedule, and another night of action between Peel Region rivals in the Mississauga Power and Brampton A's. Both clubs are coming off of victories against Saint John during the week, as David Magley and Kyle Julius will be leading their squads in to battle against a Peel Region rival for the third time this season.
David Magley's men are coming off of their first win on the year (a 136-110 win against Saint John) on Friday morning. Brian Oliver, who signed with the club this week after David Tyndale went down with an injury, lead the A's in scoring with 29 points in the win. That's the type of scoring that Brampton had been without in the first five games, which saw the A's fall to a record of 0-5 to start the season.
Mississauga will be looking to improve on their 2-0 record against Brampton so far this season. The Power have had the upper-hand on the A's so far, beating the then-winless A's 111-97 and 107-105 in two matches. The Power's last game, against Saint John, went in Mississauga's favour by a score of 133-119.
Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
