Gameday -- November, 9th, 2014

The Brampton A's remain winless on the season, after losing to the London Lightning 119-113 on Sunday. David Magley's men fell to a high-scoring Lightning squad that was reeling from last night's loss to the Power. After pulling ahead by nine early in the second, London never really looked back, finding an answer to every run the A's went on, including John Hart's three consecutive three-pointers when the gap was narrowed down to two. Zane Johnson led the way for the Lightning with 25 points, while also receiving strong efforts from Hart and Emmanuel Little, each with 22, and Marvin Phillips recorded a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Flenard Whitfield and Richard Amardi led the way for Brampton with 25 each. Whitfield added ten rebounds. The two teams will meet on Tuesday, in Brampton.

The Saint John Mill Rats edged the Island Storm 94-92 on Sunday. The Mill Rats, on the backs of Kenny Jones (24p) and Aqullie Carr (22p), improved to a record of 2-1, while the Storm fall to a record of 1-2. The Island Storm will now head to Windsor to take on the Express on Thursday. Saint John will take on Halifax on Sunday.
