NBL Canada is tipping off its 4th season this weekend and I could not be more excited.
We will see the largest season opening attendance in our league’s short history. We are seeing new community partnerships, new local, regional and national sponsorships and our players are ready.
And it’s all due to you – our NBL Canada fans.
I cannot tell you how much we appreciate your support. You buy the tickets, cheer for our teams and work together in our communities to help raise funds and awareness for so many charitable causes – making a difference each and every day.
Truly making us Canada’s community league.
, we will be launching our 500 School Visits campaign where players will meet with students of all ages in all schools talking about bullying prevention, literacy and healthy choices.
This makes NBL Canada a leader with this kind of community commitment when it comes to sports leagues in North America.
There are also a lot of exciting things to let you know about that will see NBL Canada gain exposure in your local communities and across the country.
Our digital media platform has been expanded that will see NBL Canada reach an audience of over 2 million viewers this season.
Our 1 millionth fan will walk through the turnstiles in one of our arenas this year.
Our media sponsorships at the team level is growing.
Our local and national television exposure will grow, which we will be announcing throughout the season, allowing more fans to enjoy the exciting brand of NBL Canada basketball.
The players that are coming to our league are some of the best players in the world and they are choosing to come here, play and compete before our enthusiastic fans.
