Windsor Express vs. Mississauga Power

Windsor's seven-game win-streak came to an end in Mississauga on Sunday with a slender 100-99 loss to the Power.

After 10 lead changes and a long fourth quarter, the Power have moved up to a record of 5-3 while the Express drop to 7-2 - largely due to their performance from the charity stripe.

Windsor shot 48% from the free-throw line, putting up 16 of a possible 33 points. The Power put up 86% of their shots from the line, going 25/29.

Mississauga's Omar Strong led his team with 20pts. Jaushay Rockett grabbed eight rebounds and chipped-in 15pts.

Tony Bennett put up another impressive performance for Windsor, leading the game with 15pts from three-point attempts and 25pts all-together.

Moncton Miracles vs. Island Storm

The Moncton Miracles couldn't take advantage of a battered Island Storm team on Sunday, losing to the 6-5 Storm by a score of 119-112.

After stepping out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter, the Storm were slowly broken-down by Moncton through to the third quarter - when Serge Langis' team took a 10-point lead.

However, the Storm continued to hit the boards and battled back, finishing the game with 60pts in the paint. Louis Birdsong lead the way for the forwards with 19pts and seven rebounds. Avery Smith lead the game with 28pts and eight rebounds (as a point guard). Recent acquisition Mike Martin didn't finish the game for the Storm, hitting six fouls after 18mins of work. Of the four injured players on the Storm (Doug McKinney, Sammy Zeglinski, Brandon Robinson and Mike Williams), only one managed to make an appearance. Mike Williams put in 24mins of work, tossing up 12 points.

Moncton fell on its three-point shooting again, taking 29 attempts from beyond the arc. While they did drop 15 of those (51.7%), they turned-over the ball 23 times, leading to 29 points off of the turnover for the Storm.
