Niagara 105-87 Island

The Niagara River Lions started their two-game Atlantic Divison road-swing on the right foot Saturday, with a dominate 105-87 win over the struggling Island Storm.

After going down 27-24 in the first quarter, Ken Murray's team outscored the Storm 53-34 over the next two quarters to seal their first win since Jan. 5.

Logan Stutz, the league's leading scorer and rebounder, came up with 26 points and none rebounds. Mike Allison had 14 points and 10 rebounds off of the bench for the River Lions, who are now 3-5 on the season.

Brian Anderson led the Storm with 20 points.

The 3-5 River Lions will take on Moncton Sunday (2pm AST). The Storm won't be in action until Saturday, when they host Halifax.

London 123-108 Orangeville

The London Lightning extended their lead atop the Central Division on Saturday thanks to a big 123-108 win in Orangville.

The Lightning, who were led by Stephen Maxwell (24 points, 15 rebounds), were lights-out from the floor, posting a 52% field goal percentage and a 43% three point percentage.

The A's were chasing London for almost the entire game, dispite outscoring the Lightning 36-29 in the 2nd quarter - the highest quarter point total recorded by either team in the game.

Justin Moss led the now-2-4 A's with 32 points and 10 rebounds.

Orangeville will hit the road Sunday to take on the Windsor Express - a team on one day rest following back-to-back losses in Moncton and Charlottetown. London will take on the River Lions at the Merdian Centre on Wednesday.
