Saint John 99-97 Niagara

A missed Gabe Freeman free-throw put-back gave the Saint John Mill Rats the win on Wednesday against the lowly Niagara River Lions.

A Logan Stutz layup was blocked by Anthony Stover with just moments left in the game, securing the Mill Rats a 9-5 record.

Freeman led the Mill Rats with 20 points. Stutz led the game with 25 points. Stover came away with 16 rebounds.

Saint John will move on to play London at Budweiser Gardens on Thursday. Niagara, who are now 4-11, will head to Orangeville to take on the A's on Sunday.

London (12-2) vs. Windsor (6-8)

The London Lightning's nine-game win streak came to an end on Wednesday with a massive 114-93 loss to the Windsor Express in Clash At The Collsusuem III at Caesars Windsor.

A strong second quarter from the Express (34-20) helped improved them to a 7-8 record and end the league's longest win streak (9 wins) so far this season

Brandon Robinson, who leads the NBLC in scoring this season (24ppg), had 34 points in the win.

London, who are now 12-3, will host Saint John on Thursday. Windsor moves on to take on Orangeville at the Athletic Institute on Friday. The two clubs will meet in London on Saturday.
